About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and develop end-to-end solution architecture for complex Dynamics 365 and Dataverse-based solutions
- Translate business capabilities, product objectives and user needs into scalable, maintainable solution designs
- Define how Dynamics 365, Dataverse, modern web applications, Azure services and enterprise platforms work together
- Design solutions supporting customer engagement, relationship management, case management, underwriting and claims-related processes
- Define integration strategies between Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications, operational platforms, data platforms and external data providers
- Establish solution patterns spanning APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging, data synchronisation and cloud-native services
- Ensure users can access required data, insights, reports and functionality through an effective user experience
- Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand priorities, refine requirements and identify architectural implications
- Collaborate with technical leads and engineering teams to implement architectural designs
- Define and evolve architectural roadmaps and runways supporting incremental product delivery
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience, performance and maintainability requirements
- Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies, constraints and technical debt
- Provide technical leadership and governance throughout the solution lifecycle
- Communicate complex architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support Agile planning, backlog refinement and delivery activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- English essential
- Deep understanding of Dataverse, including data modelling, security, extensibility and integration architecture
- Strong end-to-end solution architecture experience across enterprise-scale transformation programmes
- Strong knowledge of Azure integration services and enterprise integration patterns
- Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, application integration and data architecture principles
- Strong understanding of security, identity, access management, resilience and non-functional architecture requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with pragmatic delivery-focused decision making
- Understanding of high-value, specialist underwriting and claims processes
- Significant experience as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect delivering complex enterprise solutions
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse as the core platform within wider enterprise architectures
- Experience within London Market, specialty insurance, commercial insurance, financial services or similarly complex regulated industries
- Experience designing solutions integrating business applications, operational platforms, data platforms and external service providers
- Experience with Azure integration services and modern cloud-based architectures
- Experience defining architecture supporting incremental delivery and long-term product evolution
- Experience working with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects and engineering teams in Agile delivery environments
- Experience establishing architecture governance whilst maintaining delivery momentum
- Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, Customer Engagement and Case Management capabilities
- Extensive experience designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions
- Experience designing user-centric solutions extending Dynamics 365 and Dataverse through modern web experiences
- Experience designing integrations across operational systems, data platforms, analytics solutions and third-party providers
- Experience with enterprise reporting, analytics and modern data platform architectures
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and modern engineering practices would be advantageous
- Experience working within Agile and product-led delivery environments
