About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance and control of electronic manufacturing processes at EMS subcontractors
  • Audit EMS processes and products internationally
  • Conduct process and product audits in France, Europe, and Asia
  • Verify that manufacturing complies with requirements before and during production runs
  • Map risks and prepare audit reports with identified and prioritized gaps
  • Lead hardware quality assurance activities for an automotive OEM
  • Conduct audits, EMS process validations, and quality analyses
  • Draft, manage, and monitor improvement and product risk-reduction action plans
  • Perform or supervise physical analyses of electronic circuit boards in accordance with IPC and customer standards
  • Make technical decisions regarding the acceptance or nonconformity of EMS electronic processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong knowledge of electronic assembly and circuit board manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in IPC standards and customer-specific standards
  • Experience in hardware manufacturing quality assurance
  • Skills in physical analysis and failure analysis of circuit boards
  • Proficiency in SPC and FMEA quality methods
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement practices
  • Track record in DFM/DFT
  • Knowledge of production test specifications
  • Experience in process and product qualification, including in the nuclear sector
  • Skills in obsolescence and bill-of-materials management
  • Expert-level knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes
