About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Innovate and design mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using advanced CAD tools and engineering software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of electrical, software, and systems engineers
- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure quality and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical defects and perform root cause analyses
- Write and review specifications, test reports, and user manuals
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and tools
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advances in mechanical engineering
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Have at least 2 years of specialized experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in supporting manufacturing or design processes
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and various engineering software tools
- Experience with CATIA or CREO is a plus
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- European nationality required
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in French, as well as English or Dutch
