About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill positions on various EDC finance teams for Winter 2027
- Contribute to risk management, credit operations, financial operations, insurance, economic services, and accounting teams
- Gain experience at a financial Crown corporation
- Build relationships with colleagues from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Learn and grow alongside EDC employees through a coaching and mentoring program
- Develop foundational skills for a career in business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a program focused on finance, accounting, risk management (finance specialization), or a related field, or recently graduated from such a program
- Enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program
- Completed studies within the past year or currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution
- Available for a period of eight months or longer
- Previous work experience related to the field of study
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Motivated, with strong initiative, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of both official languages is an asset, but may be required for certain positions
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a valid visa/work permit at the time of application
- Meet government security screening requirements
- Application submitted by the October 30, 2026 deadline
