About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in defining and maintaining the architectural vision and roadmap for ServiceNow workflows, case management, knowledge management, and automation capabilities
  • Define architecture standards for workflows and automation
  • Establish target-state architecture in ServiceNow and other automation platforms
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, automate, and optimize business processes
  • Define architecture principles, standards, governance practices, and design patterns for automation, integrations, data, security, and ServiceNow configuration
  • Lead architecture reviews and design governance
  • Develop integration, security, and data architecture patterns
  • Evaluate AI, intelligent automation, and workflow orchestration capabilities
  • Create reusable architecture patterns and implementation standards
  • Support multiple delivery teams in adopting enterprise platforms
  • Conduct feasibility studies, assess new capabilities and trends, and make recommendations
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to product teams, analysts, developers, and vendors
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow services, Legal, Operations, Risk Management, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure end-to-end experiences and alignment with the digital roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, business solution architecture, or digital transformation initiatives
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions using CSM and automation platforms
  • ServiceNow certifications relevant to the role
  • Proven experience designing workflows, case management solutions, and process automation capabilities using ServiceNow
  • Excellent understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and governance, workflow design, integration modeling, security, data management, and platform scalability
  • Experience leading cross-functional business process transformation initiatives
  • Ability to analyze complex business needs and translate them into practical, sustainable technology solutions
  • Experience establishing target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and architecture standards for enterprise platforms
  • Experience in workflow architecture
  • Experience with integration and API architectures
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale automation and orchestration solutions
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence leaders
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and with cross-functional product teams
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application; Canadian citizens and permanent residents preferred
  • Candidates must meet government security requirements
