About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill positions within various EDC Human Resources teams
- Contribute to assignments related to talent acquisition, employee support and relations, total rewards, learning and development, inclusion, diversity and equity, and HR analytics
- Collaborate with colleagues across a diverse range of business areas
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Learn and grow alongside EDC employees through coaching and mentoring
- Gain experience at a Crown corporation and develop foundational skills for a career in business
- Participate in internships and co-op work terms, generally on a full-time basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or recently completed a university or college program in HR, or a related program with an HR focus
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or diploma, completed or in progress
- Available for a period of 8 months or longer; preference given to candidates available through 2027
- Previous work experience related to the field of study
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Motivated, with strong initiative, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about performing both routine and complex tasks
- Knowledge of both official languages is considered an asset and may be required for certain positions
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit at the time of application
- Meet government security screening requirements
- Currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution or have completed studies within the past year
