About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT issues involving hardware, operating systems, and core applications
  • Resolve routine issues quickly and reliably to keep employees productive
  • Monitor, triage, and prioritize the support queue
  • Communicate ticket status and resolution clearly to employees
  • Coordinate escalations to Operations, Engineering, People, or vendors and own requests through resolution
  • Resolve login, MFA, and lockout issues
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts for onboarding, offboarding, and role or information changes
  • Process access and permission changes according to procedures and approvals
  • Assist with MFA enrollment, resets, and device changes
  • Conduct routine user access audits and confirm required changes
  • Maintain records of accounts, hardware, software, and licenses
  • Follow and reinforce security, authentication, access-control, and data-protection procedures
  • Support SSO rollout activities across platforms including Stripe, Slack, Zoom, Apple ID, and Pearson
  • Support MDM migration from Rippling to Mosyle
  • Maintain checklists, runbooks, and usage guides
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, People, and other teams to resolve and prevent recurring issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or IT operations
  • Degree or certifications in information technology preferred
  • Track record of high ticket throughput and fast, reliable issue resolution in a support environment
  • Hands-on experience with account provisioning/deprovisioning, access changes, and MFA across cloud-based platforms
  • Proficiency with macOS, PC environments, mobile device management (e.g., Rippling, Mosyle, JAMF), Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and cloud-based applications in a fully remote environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support a geographically distributed team
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must reside within the United States
