About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in an effective restorative care program applying OMNI Supportive Measures standards and principles
  • Participate in and assist with the physical therapy program in the home as required
  • Provide input into service and product evaluations to ensure safety, quality, and resident needs are met
  • Assist and support residents’ participation in activities when they cannot participate independently
  • Use continuous quality improvement tools to evaluate and improve care and services
  • Use Risk Management tools to identify and support management of actual and potential risks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or another related field, OR current enrollment in a community college or university diploma or degree program in such a field
  • Certificate of completion or proof of enrollment required
