Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver assigned reports and analyses accurately and on time
Keep stakeholders and colleagues informed of progress and potential issues
Ensure outputs align with business requirements and stakeholder expectations
Develop broad understanding of EY’s reporting portfolio to provide cover and support
Reconcile data from multiple sources and investigate variances
Act as a trusted business advisor to finance and business stakeholders
Understand business requirements and provide high-quality, responsive support
Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide updates on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Support process improvement initiatives involving reporting efficiency, data quality, automation, and stakeholder experience
Document reporting processes and business logic
Support development, testing, and deployment of reporting tools and technologies
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and automate processes
Provide financial reporting, analytics, and insights support for strategic and ad hoc business requests within EY’s Global Clients & Industries organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in professional services or other leading global organizations
Strong aptitude for commercial financial reporting and analysis
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
Practical and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to clearly articulate approaches, findings, and recommendations
Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
Ownership of deliverables with high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Ability to collaborate within a geographically diverse team environment
SQL query design, interpretation, and troubleshooting
Strong experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards
Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas, data modelling, and automation
Experience with large financial and operational datasets
Understanding of Wins, Pipeline, Backlog, Revenue, and Margin concepts
Excellent listening and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proactive customer-focused approach and willingness to embrace new ideas
