About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based platforms, applications, and infrastructure solutions
  • Leverage AWS services, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, cloud databases, and modern CI/CD practices
  • Architect and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions
  • Drive continuous improvements in developer experience and platform reliability
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, networking, security, and performance issues
  • Solve complex technical challenges and lead technical initiatives independently
  • Support developer communities by resolving pain points and enabling operational excellence
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and AI research
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for model deployment and scaling
  • Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Git to build and manage AI pipelines
  • Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to integrate and deploy AI models
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Work with stakeholders and senior executives within EY and at client organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, and cloud operations
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Python-based automation
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and performance
  • Experience with cloud databases, distributed systems, and containerized applications
  • Understanding of cloud governance, cost optimization, and operational resilience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT) or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on expertise with GitHub, AWS Services, cloud-based databases, CI/CD, pipeline development, cloud platform development, and cloud-based application development
  • Proficiency in Python, Angular, Java, and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS Lambda
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and deploying AI solutions in a cloud environment
  • Knowledge of trusted AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and accountability
  • Understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical considerations in AI applications
  • AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices
  • Scrum/Agile methodology experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders and engineering/operations teams
