About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and manage a team of development resources in SAP Business Technology Platform environments
- Deliver applications end-to-end in collaboration with Project Managers, QA resources, and Support Teams
- Inspire, guide, and mentor consultants throughout complex project lifecycles
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Employee Central projects from discovery through deployment and support
- Manage and mentor consultants, assign tasks, and provide project guidance
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to understand business requirements, HR processes, and reporting needs
- Analyze and document client requirements and translate them into system specifications and design documents
- Advise clients on best practices, change management, and system adoption
- Design and configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions, including organizational management, employee data, workflows, business rules, and security settings
- Develop, deploy, and manage SAP BTP applications in Neo and Cloud Foundry
- Build scalable enterprise applications using SAP CAP and Node.js/Java
- Collaborate on integration with SAP and non-SAP systems
- Develop database models, stored procedures, and views using SAP HANA Cloud and SAP HANA 2.0
- Implement analytics and performance tuning on HANA databases
- Integrate external data sources using SDI and SDA
- Design and build SuccessFactors extensions using SAP BTP and SAP Cloud SDK
- Integrate SuccessFactors through OData APIs and Metadata Framework
- Implement security protocols including OAuth2, SAML, and JWT
- Maintain SAP security compliance and implement S/4HANA extensions using SAP Fiori/UI5
- Challenge and hold the Service Delivery team accountable
- Identify, manage, and resolve complex issues and project risks
- Build collaborative team environments and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Liaise with EY ITSD, AMS teams, and business stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Computer Science and/or a business related degree; or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of application services and/or client/supplier relationship management in a technology environment
- 5+ years of experience in building application extensions in SAP BTP
- Significant experience in a customer service role and business management role
- Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred
- Fluent English speaker
- International travel may be required
- Application development experience on SAP BTP in Neo and Cloud Foundry environments
- Experience with SAP CAP and Node.js/Java
- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP HANA 2.0, including XSC/XSA
- Experience with HANA Data Provisioning tools, including SDI and SDA
- Experience building SAP SuccessFactors extension applications using SAP BTP and SAP Cloud SDK
- Experience integrating SuccessFactors with external systems through OData APIs and SuccessFactors Metadata Framework
- Experience with Business Rules Engine, Workflows, UI5/Fiori applications, OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and SAP security best practices
- Relationship management, business analysis, data modelling, financial and people leadership skills
- Certification in SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, or SAP Certified Professional - Solution Architect - SAP BTP, good to have
