About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with analysis, development, testing, and support of Technology solutions
  • Support the design and development of server-side services, APIs, and data integrations for financial services clients
  • Contribute to assigned workstreams under the guidance of experienced colleagues
  • Participate in the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery, and support of Technology solutions
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performing back-end systems using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful and SOAP web services, microservices, databases, messaging platforms, and cloud technologies
  • Learn and apply code quality, security, testing, and automation standards
  • Work as part of project teams delivering technology project-based work and managed services
  • Help clients solve complex business problems by delivering robust enterprise solutions
  • Manage changing priorities and learn new technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in enterprise application development
  • Exposure to Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Object-oriented programming fundamentals
  • Foundational knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and web services
  • Exposure to SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or JMS
  • Exposure to Git, CI/CD, and unit testing concepts
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Eagerness to learn new and rapidly changing technologies
