About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse, understand and document client needs from a business perspective
- Work with clients to develop optimal solutions leveraging OT/control systems expertise
- Identify and implement business process redesign and continuous improvements
- Lead Project Scope Study workshops and define business requirements for execution
- Identify integration needs with in-house and third-party systems
- Provide system information to Solution Architects and Technical Teams
- Act as interface between client teams and technical teams
- Identify digital transformation opportunities and recommend ways to improve client operations
- Assess value potential of Transmission & Distribution transformation programmes and architect value proposals
- Develop commercialization solutions for power distribution clients
- Provide advisory services to clients
- Perform presales and practice development activities
- Lead consultancy assignments and manage teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant OT/CS (ADMS, OMS, DERMS, AMI, SCADA) implementation or technical advisory experience: 10–15 years for Manager; 6–10 years for Senior
- Functional Business Analysis concepts and OT/CS knowledge
- Gap analysis experience
- Knowledge of OT/CS products, technologies, frameworks, business metadata management and architectural components
- Strong business analysis skills
- Strong business process design skills
- Strong understanding of the electric utility industry, including Grid Operations, Field Operations, Smart Grids and Digital Grid
- Understanding of Distributed Energy Resources or related clean energy, energy efficiency, storage and solar experience
- Experience with presales, practice development, internal engagement and/or knowledge management
- Experience working with clients throughout various parts of the implementation lifecycle
- Programme management experience and successful delivery of large, complex programmes
- People management and consultancy assignment leadership experience
- Ability to manage teams and work with leadership on team development
- Good business writing and communication skills
- Relevant product/platform certification is advantageous
- Business Process Mapping and BPM tools knowledge is an added advantage
