About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse, understand and document client needs from a business perspective
- Work with clients to develop optimal solutions using OT/control systems expertise
- Identify and implement business process redesign and continuous improvements
- Lead Project Scope Study workshops and define business requirements for execution
- Identify integration needs with in-house and third-party systems
- Provide system information to Solution Architects and Technical Teams
- Act as the interface between client teams and technical teams
- Identify digital transformation opportunities and recommend improvements
- Assess value potential of Transmission & Distribution transformation programmes and architect value proposals
- Develop commercialization solutions for power distribution clients
- Provide advisory services to clients
- Support presales, practice development, internal engagement and knowledge management
- Lead delivery of large and medium P&U sector OT/control systems solutions
- Manage teams and lead consultancy assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Manager: relevant OT/CS (ADMS, OMS, DERMS, AMI, SCADA) implementation/technical advisory experience totaling 10 to 15 years
- Senior: relevant OT/CS (ADMS, OMS, DERMS, AMI, SCADA) implementation/technical advisory experience totaling 6 to 10 years
- Functional Business Analysis concepts with relevant OT/CS and gap analysis knowledge
- Proficiency in OT/CS products, technologies, frameworks, business metadata management and architectural components
- Strong business analysis skills
- Strong command over business process design
- Strong understanding and experience with the electric utility industry, including Grid Operations, Field Operations, Smart Grids and Digital Grid
- Understanding of Distributed Energy Resources or related clean energy, energy efficiency, storage and solar experience
- Experience with clients throughout various parts of the implementation lifecycle
- Programme management experience and successful delivery of large, complex programmes
- People management and ability to conduct and lead consultancy assignments
- Ability to manage a team and work with leadership for overall team development
- Good business writing skills
- Good communication skills
- Relevant product/platform certification is advantageous
- Knowledge of Business Process Mapping and BPM tools is an added advantage
