About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic communications and engagement initiatives
  • Drive communications planning, content development, creative storytelling, brand awareness, employee engagement, and event-related activities across the Americas
  • Manage communications processes, solutions, projects, quality, and risk
  • Improve processes and identify innovative solutions through research, analysis, and best practices
  • Manage or supervise professional employees and junior staff
  • Create, develop, and manage scope and schedules for moderate to complex communications projects
  • Plan and assign resources, tasks, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with Communications Leadership and senior stakeholders to communicate strategic objectives and initiatives
  • Develop strategic communications for internal and external audiences across webcasts, podcasts, videos, social media, newsletters, meetings, presentations, email, intranet, and thought leadership
  • Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders, journalists, and media outlets
  • Leverage firm-approved AI tools to create deliverables, optimize workflows, measure impact, and inform decisions
  • Analyze communications measurement data and advise leadership
  • Respond to inquiries about communication deliverables
  • Act as project manager and direct functional business unit staff
  • Provide feedback and formal assessments to other staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree required (4-year degree)
  • Bachelor's degree with a communications or related major, or equivalent experience
  • 5 - 7 years relevant experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations
  • Listening and interpretation skills
  • Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including development of junior staff
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in AI tools for content creation, refinement, and workflow automation
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
