About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take responsibility for high-quality execution of specific parts of a Forensic engagement
- Draft professional summaries of observations, findings and testing results for client work products and reports
- Use technology to continually learn and share knowledge with team members
- Develop an understanding of the firm’s service offerings, markets and sectors
- Seek feedback from more experienced team members
- Maintain a strong focus on the client and respond to requests
- Work with clients’ legal counsel, internal audit and compliance departments to investigate complex issues
- Develop practical solutions addressing operational challenges
- Assess and develop recommendations for crisis management, safety and security, intelligence, and bribery and corruption issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, finance, business, political science or related field
- Up to 1 year of related experience
- Achieved or be working towards a professional designation, such as CPA, CFA, CFE
- Effective project and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in delivering findings, observations and summarized updates to senior project and professional stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites
- Driver’s license strongly recommended
- Relevant forensic accounting, investigations, litigation, compliance, technology or dispute related experience preferably within a professional services firm
