About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

  • Communicate complex data concepts and project progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Manage client relationships and expectations
  • Stay current with trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and analytics
  • Travel regularly based on client needs may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field required
  • Typically, no less than 4–6 years relevant experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud data solutions and analytics
  • Strong background in data architecture and design, with experience in building complex cloud analytics solutions
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client management
  • Ability to align data engineering initiatives with organizational goals and drive strategic vision
  • Experience managing multiple projects and teams
  • Proficiency engaging stakeholders, including executives
  • Skills guiding clients through change processes related to data transformation and technology adoption
  • Ability to identify risks in data projects and develop mitigation strategies
  • Experience leading technical discussions and making architectural decisions
  • Proficiency creating comprehensive documentation and reports
