About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide M&A advisory services to global EYP leaders
- Lead client interactions, delivery and relationship building with EYP Global Sector leaders
- Coordinate directly with onshore PPEDs, SMs and Ms
- Work across the full M&A deal lifecycle from origination to closure
- Handle transaction screening, proposals, pitch books, due diligence materials, process letters and investor communications
- Prepare precedent transaction and comparative company valuation analyses, opportunity papers and information memorandums
- Create financial M&A models
- Manage a team of 4–5 people and act as counsellor for team members
- Identify learning and development requirements of counselees
- Measure, monitor and improve client service and service delivery quality
- Manage several medium-sized projects and focus teams on key priorities
- Partner with internal and external clients to improve processes
- Analyze resource needs and gaps across locations with project leaders and devise alternatives
- Travel abroad on assignments as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience working in a Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance environment
- Strong research experience in M&A
- Expertise in preparing pitch books, industry research, company research, opportunity papers, information memorandums and financial models
- Good knowledge of valuation principles and financial statement analysis
- Strong financial research and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of research databases such as Capital IQ and OneSource
- Proficiency in searching and sourcing relevant information
- Ability to manage own time to budgets and communicate progress against plan
- Ability to organize and structure task completion
- MBA or PG Diploma in Finance, or CFA Level 3 passed, or CA, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Exposure to AI/Tech tools such as Copilot, VBA, Power BI, Think-cell and SharePoint is an added advantage
