About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help design, develop, secure, and extend Power Apps applications using Microsoft Power Apps model-driven apps and Power Pages
- Understand, design, test, and capture workflows and requirements for existing and proposed processes
- Build Model-Driven Power Apps, Canvas Power Apps, and Power Pages for client and business requirements
- Support the team and organization in growing Power Platform capability
- Contribute to simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity
- Contribute specialized expertise to assigned projects and provide key updates to the Team Lead and Manager
- Provide estimates for pipeline work
- Build external-facing portals using Power Portals
- Build flows and robotic process automations within Power Automate
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years’ experience in Power Apps canvas app and model-driven apps development
- Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Proven experience in developing Power Apps model-driven apps and Power Pages, including in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints
- Development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, RESTful Web Services, ASP.NET, SharePoint Online (one or more)
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling
- Experience in other Power Platform practice such as Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, and Power Pages
- Knowledge regarding Power Platform licensing
- Familiarity of Microsoft Power BI
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices for Power Apps model-driven apps in Dynamics 365; candidates must expose, store, and report on data
- Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Microsoft Power Platform or related certification is a plus
