Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead workstreams and engagements within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Corporate and Growth Strategy practice
  • Translate client needs into project tasks and deliverables
  • Manage day-to-day problem-solving and team analytical activities
  • Serve as a liaison between consulting team members, Senior Directors, Partners, and clients
  • Develop long-term strategies for organizations
  • Evaluate potential business acquisitions
  • Improve educational achievement outcomes
  • Develop new marketing channel strategies
  • Reduce operating costs
  • Evaluate new business ventures
  • Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization
  • Manage and motivate diverse workstreams and teams
  • Develop, manage, and mentor Associates, Senior Associates, and Consultants
  • Advise C-suite clients across Exploration & Production, Oilfield Services & Equipment, Pipeline & Transportation, Refining & Marketing, Chemicals, Industrial Services, and Private Equity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance and at least 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience
  • Experience with some mix of enterprise strategy, business unit level strategy, operating model design, cost structures and/or partnerships and new ventures
  • Ability to assess the oil, gas, and chemicals industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
  • Proficient in English, including professional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, organization and time management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must reside in or be within commutable distance to the office location
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
  • MBA with two years of related work experience or graduate degree with at least three years of related work experience, with a focus on client advisory or strategic planning within professional services environment (ideally)
  • Knowledge of firm-approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot (ideally)
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis aptitude
  • Ability to link business strategy to performance
  • Strong team-player orientation and adaptability to changing requirements or deadlines
