About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and mentor a team of FP&A analysts
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables
  • Oversee weekly and monthly business performance reports
  • Own and manage the P&L across reporting cycles
  • Drive Actual vs. Plan KPI tracking and explain variances with actionable insight
  • Lead financial analytics and insights supporting business decisions
  • Partner with the Operations Lead on root cause analysis and solutions
  • Develop financial models across multiple scenarios
  • Build relationships with the Finance team and Service Line leadership
  • Serve as primary contact for financial data relating to the supported Service Line
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and information-gathering initiatives
  • Support ad-hoc requests from Finance and Service Line leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Finance-related degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant finance department experience
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to develop and present credible solutions
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Proactive approach to learning, initiative and curiosity
  • Ability to lead automation initiatives using Excel, AI-enabled tools and other digital solutions
  • Well-developed listening and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership
  • Ability to build strong relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to be innovative, confident and creative, and constructively challenge the status quo
  • Completed or in-progress professional accountancy qualification preferred
  • Experience supporting a professional services organization or complex, matrixed business preferred
  • Experience leading automation or reporting transformation initiatives preferred
