About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze complex data across government contract services, including allowable costs, audits, business systems, investigations, and government pricing
- Participate in engagement planning with other Government Contract Services members
- Contribute to GCS practice development
- Develop innovative recommendations addressing clients’ compliance risks and market opportunities
- Manage engagement teams to drive execution on engagements
- Research regulatory information and industry insights
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines
- Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from EY expertise in other areas
- Take responsibility for high-quality execution and delivery of specific parts of client engagements
- Support multiple projects and ensure work meets client needs
- Develop yourself and others through on-the-job coaching
- Use technology to learn and share knowledge with team members
- Nurture relationships with professionals in other service lines
- Maintain a strong focus on clients and respond to their requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Exposure to or experience with U.S. state or federal regulatory programs, preferably including DCAA, FAR, CAS, Medicare, Medicaid, FSS, DFARS, Federal Supply Schedules, and/or the 340B Drug Pricing Program
- Achieved or be capable of obtaining a relevant professional certification, such as a CPA, CFA, CFE, EnCE, CAP, CCEP or IGP
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong knowledge of PC-based tools, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites
- A driver’s license is strongly recommended
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or MS PowerBI
- Working knowledge of data analytics tools such as MS Access or MS SQL Server
- Working knowledge of agentic AI tools such as MS Copilot
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
- Experience managing Staff on multiple projects
