About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage Treasury engagements, including project and resource planning, budget management, work-plan execution, client relationship management, and delivery of contracted specifications and deadlines
  • Lead proposal development and participate in pursuit teams for prospective treasury engagements
  • Support and lead business development and practice development initiatives
  • Respond to client requests and develop and maintain productive client relationships
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to determine engagement strategy, manage risk, and manage expectations
  • Understand clients’ industries, performance drivers, business trends, and industry developments
  • Develop and maintain internal and external networks
  • Work with other service lines to provide integrated service delivery
  • Support expanded client solutions using data, emerging technology, and advanced analytics
  • Create process flows, design documents, workshops, and tools
  • Oversee end-user training and support
  • Coach, support, manage, supervise, and mentor internal resources and junior staff
  • Serve as point person for technical questions
  • Expand market share and solution capabilities while delivering exemplary client engagement execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Achieved or working toward a professional designation such as CTP, CFA, CPA, or FRM
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking within a global corporate treasury or consulting business
  • Advanced skills and experience with treasury organizational structure and transformation, financial risk management, cash flow forecasting, analytics, liquidity management, cash and bank relationship management, international treasury centers, debt and investment management, due diligence, governance and controls, carve-outs, and hedge accounting
  • Excellent sales and influencing skills
  • Ability to present credibly to senior clients and colleagues
  • Valid passport
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites
  • Driver’s license strongly recommended
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, Certified Treasury Professional qualification, CFA designation, consulting experience on complex projects, and system selection and implementation experience preferred
