About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead operations and delivery for Threat Detection & Response engagements
- Provide end-to-end security incident investigation support while ensuring client SLAs and KPIs
- Oversee detection, reporting, and response to security incidents
- Manage SOC security tools and technologies, ensuring proper configuration and maintenance
- Lead the security operations center and client network security event monitoring
- Define, track, and meet Service Level Agreements for all clients
- Provide technical leadership and advise junior team members on SOC activities
- Revise standard operating policies and procedures and ensure team adherence
- Identify opportunities to improve security monitoring and operational tasks
- Explain complex technical security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel
- Oversee daily SOC tasks that can be automated
- Provide strategic views and benefits to clients and work with limited resources
Requirements
What you’ll need- B. Tech./ B.E. with sound technical skills
- Ability to work in client time zone
- Strong command of verbal and written English language
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated technical acumen and critical thinking abilities
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience operating, implementing, or designing SIEM solutions
- Proven experience in Project Management
- Certification in any of the SIEM platforms
- Certification – CISM, CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GIAC, SABSA, TOGAF
- Hands-on expertise with SIEM technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk from a security analyst’s point of view
- Expert knowledge and experience in Security Monitoring
- Expert knowledge and experience in Cyber Incident Response
- Knowledge of cloud security and IOT/OT is a value add
- Knowledge of network monitoring platforms such as Fidelis XPS and ExtraHop
- Knowledge of endpoint protection tools, techniques, and platforms such as Carbon Black, Defender, and CrowdStrike
- Knowledge of RegEx, Perl scripting, and SQL query language is a value add
- Ability to work with minimal levels of supervision or oversight
- Customer service orientation
