About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead various Guidewire implementation / prototype development projects for customers across the globe
  • Contribute as a technical leader across various streams of Guidewire implementation projects
  • Interface, collaborate and communicate with onsite coordinators
  • Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team
  • Mentor the project team in executing identified projects
  • Provide regular status reporting to Program Managers and onsite coordinators
  • Interface with customer representatives as needed
  • Build a quality culture
  • Manage performance management for direct reports according to organizational policies
  • Foster teamwork and lead by example
  • Train and mentor project resources
  • Participate in organization-wide people initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BE/BTech/MCA & MBA with a sound industry experience of 8-14 Yrs
  • Highly experienced and hands-on in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and/or Guidewire Integration and/or Guidewire Digital
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in either Personal Lines products like Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners, Personal Umbrella, etc. OR Commercial Lines products like Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation, Farm, Commercial Umbrella, Farm Umbrella, Business Owners, etc.
  • Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT
  • Strong in PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
  • Strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic
  • Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, on Insurance applications
  • Understanding and experience of software development best practices
  • Excellent business communication skills

  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in Guidewire implementations/upgrades
  • Experience in Insurance domain in Property & Casualty
