About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define security architectures and provide pragmatic security guidance balancing business benefits and risks
  • Evaluate and prescribe security controls throughout technology architectures
  • Define security configuration standards for platforms and technologies
  • Provide knowledge sharing and technical assistance to team members
  • Act as a subject matter expert for responsible technologies and portfolios
  • Perform information-system and infrastructure risk assessments
  • Maintain and enhance the Information Security risk assessment methodology
  • Develop risk treatment and mitigation options for security risks identified during reviews or audits
  • Translate technical vulnerabilities into business-risk terminology and recommend corrective actions
  • Engage directly in delivery of programs and projects for EY’s Audit Technologies portfolio
  • Facilitate information security services throughout the system development life cycle
  • Direct technology teams in implementing risk treatment and vulnerability mitigation options

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience (required)
  • Five or more years of experience in security architecture, application security, networking, data center configuration, cloud technology, and management of significant Information Security risk functions
  • 5 or more years of experience in an Information Security or Information Technology discipline
  • Experience in the Agile development lifecycle
  • Experience managing communication of security findings and recommendations to IT project teams and management
  • Strong English language skills required
  • Experience with MS Azure and cloud technologies
  • Experience designing and engineering web-based multi-tier information systems or network infrastructures
  • Experience with security architecture, design and assessment of accounting and auditing systems
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, vendor and third-party risk assessments, and recommending remediation strategies
  • Experience with ISO 27001/27002, NIST, PCI DSS, ITIL, and COBIT
  • Preferred or actively pursuing GIAC, CISSP, CISM, or CISA certifications
  • Experience with blockchain, RPA, AI, or Scaled Agile Framework is advantageous
