About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and lead a team of technical support staff designing, developing, testing, implementing, and monitoring software and tools
  • Work with business leaders and clients to define scope, requirements, and environmental needs
  • Plan and execute development of various systems and deliver software releases
  • Act as liaison with business sponsors, principals, technical teams, IT, and business partners
  • Lead cross-functional teams and communicate project progress to stakeholders
  • Manage project risks, resources, timelines, and budgets
  • Hire, evaluate, supervise, train, and develop team members
  • Develop staffing, operational, departmental, and project plans
  • Monitor and report service delivery metrics and overall performance
  • Develop policies and procedures and identify continuous-improvement opportunities
  • Lead quality initiatives to improve service levels
  • Present status, metrics, and department initiatives to management and project peers
  • Participate in department budgeting, review expenses, and ensure budget compliance
  • Ensure compliance with information technology and information security policies
  • Integrate cybersecurity frameworks, security measures, and best practices into IT projects
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or IT service delivery
  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • PMP, ITIL, or Agile certifications preferred
  • Strong expertise in IT project management, Agile methodologies, and SDLC best practices
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and enterprise IT solutions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD Pipelines (Github), TDD/BDD practices, Splunk, and Honeycomb
  • Familiarity leading an MS Dynamics team is a plus
  • Familiarity with Claude Code and Github Co-Pilot is a plus
  • Ability to interact comfortably with senior executives
