About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support end-to-end operations workstreams across strategic transformations and M&A transactions, including due diligence, value creation, integration, separation, and restructuring initiatives
Assess operational performance, risks, value creation opportunities, KPIs, cost structures, productivity, and working capital
Evaluate Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Operations, and Corporate Functions for synergies, cost reductions, and performance improvements
Support business cases, financial models, and value creation initiatives for transaction and transformation decisions
Coordinate project workstreams and manage relationships with client stakeholders, including senior management and C-level executives
Develop executive presentations, findings reports, business cases, and steering materials
Translate business needs into practical operational improvement and transformation initiatives
Leverage AI tools and innovative approaches to improve analysis, delivery efficiency, and opportunity identification

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–6 years of professional experience in operational consulting, transaction advisory, due diligence, value creation, restructuring, transformation, or performance improvement projects
Good understanding of operational value drivers, including cost optimization, procurement effectiveness, supply chain performance, working capital improvement, operational productivity, and organizational efficiency
Ability to assess business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support practical recommendations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with financial modelling, advanced Excel, business case development, and financial analysis
Experience using AI, automation, and digital tools for analysis, insight generation, and project delivery
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
Ability to travel and work across the EU, up to 20% annually
Excellent written and verbal command of English and an additional European language; French, Spanish, Italian, or German preferred
Occasional work outside normal business hours with international teams
Preferred experience in M&A transactions, including due diligence, synergy assessment, integration, separation, restructuring, or value creation
Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Industrial Operations, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or SG&A optimization
Experience building strong working relationships with senior clients and advising key decision makers
Hands-on experience working in an international environment
