About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead platform development, maintenance, and support across enterprise systems
- Manage technical teams and supervise, train, and guide team members
- Manage and resolve complex platform issues escalated from staff
- Oversee implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of platform technologies across all systems
- Develop and implement department policy and procedure changes
- Lead quality initiatives to enhance service delivery and ensure critical technology maintenance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain platform standards
- Implement new technologies for enterprise-wide infrastructure projects
- Establish and manage technical standards
- Evaluate IT vendor products and services for ongoing performance
- Determine appropriate technical tools based on business functions and user requirements
- Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in platform engineering or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA), or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA)
- Strong knowledge of platform architecture, infrastructure management, and software development
- Expertise in developing, testing, debugging, and implementing scalable software platforms
- Experience with technical documentation, database technologies, and software programming languages
- Ability to lead technical teams, drive continuous improvement, and implement strategic platform initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Good technical knowledge in Kubernetes and AWS Serverless services
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ideally, strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ideally, highly flexible, adaptable, and creative
- Ideally, comfortable interacting with senior executives
