About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop the performance of the Sales Executive team
- Serve as an individual contributor and lead team performance
- Own team sales performance and incentive-compensation measures
- Validate sales credit in alignment with firm policies
- Monitor pipeline health, quality, and conversion
- Review KPIs and address performance gaps, risks, and opportunities
- Manage sales-resource deployment and oversee quota assignments
- Provide strategic guidance and escalation support for top deals
- Align the team with go-to-market strategies and priority areas
- Coach sales effectiveness and commercial excellence
- Support critical deal closures with tactical and strategic sales leadership
- Serve as Account Leader and Sales Executive for select Top End Core or High Potential Core accounts
- Lead profitable account growth, margin, long-term value, and brand elevation
- Build C-suite and senior-level client relationships
- Originate, qualify, and close deals using tailored sales strategies
- Lead cross-service-line teaming and leverage cross-sector insights
- Manage pricing strategy, forecasting accuracy, working-capital performance, pipeline, and pursuit excellence
- Oversee delivery quality, client satisfaction, continuous improvement, risk management, quality, and compliance
- Report to the US Core Growth Sales Leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- 12–15+ years’ current experience with EY or similar strong track record at a Global Professional Services firm
- Experience leading sales teams and driving performance
- Experience managing sales executives under a variable sales compensation plan
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and selling complex solutions to the C-level
- Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, emerging sales tools, methodologies, and go-to-market models
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage and resolve conflicts
- Strategic account experience, with emphasis on originating and closing new business
- Outstanding client management and relationship skills
- Strong executive presence and influencing skills
- Strong knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry
