About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define end-to-end solution architecture on SAP BTP
Design application extensions using CAPM (Node.js/Java) and/or RAP (ABAP Cloud, CDS, OData V4)
Define extensibility strategies aligned with Clean Core principles
Architect cloud-native, multi-tenant, and scalable applications
Integrate applications with S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud and non-SAP systems
Design and embed SAP Business AI scenarios, including SAP AI Business Services and generative AI via AI Core / Generative AI Hub
Ensure enterprise-grade security, governance, and compliance
Review designs and perform architectural governance
Guide delivery teams
Drive proofs of concept, innovation initiatives, and reuse frameworks
Mentor developers, leads, and managers on BTP architecture and best practices
Support pre-sales, estimations, and technical solutioning where required

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 to 15 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong expertise in SAP BTP architecture, including event-driven and microservice-based architectures
Hands-on experience with BTP accounts and cloud principles
Hands-on experience with CAPM (CDS, services, events, multitenancy)
Hands-on experience with RAP / Advanced ABAP for Cloud, design patterns, and OOP
Experience with Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and ABAP runtime environments
Experience with OData V4
Experience with SAP Fiori Elements / UI5
Deep understanding of Clean Core and side-by-side extensibility
Deep understanding of S/4HANA Cloud extensibility models
Experience with SAP Business AI, including AI Business Services, AI Core, AI Launchpad, and generative AI integration patterns
Strong stakeholder, leadership, and communication skills
Preferred: SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and Build Process Automation
Preferred: DevOps, CI/CD, and Transport Management on BTP
SAP certifications in SAP BTP, CAPM / ABAP Cloud / RAP, and SAP Business AI
