About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team providing Agile methodology services to cross-functional technology project and product teams
  • Improve team productivity, work-process quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Hire, evaluate, supervise, train, and coach team members
  • Set performance standards, review performance, and make compensation decisions according to HR policies
  • Build and coach high-performing teams aligned with project and business goals
  • Lead planning, team learning, process adaptation, and continuous improvement
  • Embed Agile/Scrum concepts, principles, and frameworks in technical delivery
  • Integrate changing customer inputs and business conditions into product development
  • Advise product owners and management on technology outcomes, prioritization, and trade-offs
  • Remove delivery roadblocks and manage stakeholder expectations for scope, schedule, and budget
  • Estimate iteration deliverables and improve sprint velocity
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and iteration meetings
  • Manage product and sprint backlogs and development tracking systems
  • Monitor sprint progress, team dynamics, communication, and impediments
  • Design and maintain monitoring and alerting for performance degradation and application disruptions
  • Triage and troubleshoot production incidents using logs, telemetry, and diagnostic data
  • Build ML models to predict and prevent incidents
  • Develop detection mechanisms, synthetic monitoring, scalable alerting, and automated diagnostic systems
  • Perform health checks, investigate alerts, resolve issues, and minimize downtime
  • Conduct trend analysis and improve system reliability and availability
  • Lead incident management, trigger incident response, and maintain incident playbooks
  • Document incidents, recovery steps, learnings, processes, and escalation paths
  • Collaborate with application developers, DevOps engineers, and IT stakeholders on root-cause analysis and permanent fixes
  • Refine alerting to reduce false positives and negatives
  • Promote SRE principles and stay current with observability, monitoring, and SRE practices
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Agile software development
  • At least 2 years leading large cross-functional teams on enterprise technology initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification mandatory
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as an operations engineer, full stack developer, or automation engineer
  • Expertise in IT project management, Agile methodologies, SDLC best practices, IT infrastructure, software development, and enterprise IT solutions
  • Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, and IT governance
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and IT compliance standards
  • Must have skills: Node.js, TypeScript, ECS, Kubernetes, Kore.AI, Android, iOS development
  • Experience with Agile team leadership, stakeholder management, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, velocity optimization, and JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Experience building high-performing agile teams and fostering continuous improvement in enterprise environments
  • Experience with Confluence
  • Experience monitoring and refining dashboards
  • Experience in continuous process improvement for process flows and workflows
  • Problem-solving skills, application troubleshooting, escalation handling, and collaboration with application teams
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting logs
  • Experience with observability, SRE principles, and automation
  • Expert knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and IAM
  • Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems
  • Tooling and automation skills using Python, Java, and Selenium
  • Prior experience in incident management and stakeholder communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect certification, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or ICAgile Certified Professional
  • Preferred: APM tools such as Honeycomb, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace; Splunk, Grafana, or ThousandEyes; Unix and Mainframe environments; networking; AI/LLM applications; MCP or similar agent frameworks
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and comfort interacting with senior executives
  • Willingness to work in a 24×7 support model as needed
