About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage one Premier or Strategic account within the Telecommunications Sector
  • Work with the Global Client Service Partner, Sales Executive, and Account Leads to co-develop account strategy
  • Drive global execution of account plans
  • Facilitate service line planning, account integration, pursuit support, and pipeline development
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and knowledge hub for the account
  • Connect client priorities and industry trends with EY capabilities, growth drivers, and innovative solutions
  • Leverage the global EY network to connect clients with the right people
  • Generate sales pipeline, develop relationships, and provide deal coaching
  • Drive account strategy and innovation, client relationship growth, sales acceleration, and talent development
  • Ensure cross-service-line and cross-geography team integration
  • Deliver exceptional client service in internal and external interactions
  • Own the Client Experience process, including plan development, interviews, action tracking, and year-end follow-up
  • Maintain regular on-site presence with client stakeholders as business needs dictate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–12+ years of account management or similar relevant experience
  • Must be based in the Philadelphia area
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all organizational levels
  • Effective influencing and relationship-building skills with strong executive presence
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree; emphasis in Marketing or Business preferred
  • Understanding of Telecommunications industry trends, including 5G and connectivity transformation, digital and AI innovation, customer experience, enterprise growth strategies, and large-scale business and operational transformation
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and orchestrate multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to establish credibility and trust
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong business/commercial acumen and understanding of major industry sector trends
  • Leadership, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Change management and strong project management experience
