About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide ongoing Market Development Funds and investments support for one or more alliances
- Execute assigned special projects
- Administer investments for designated alliances in compliance with organizational mandates and policies
- Track alliance investment activities and submit and report reimbursement claims through partner platforms, including e342Claims where applicable
- Apply internal controls and maintain audit-ready supporting documentation
- Liaise with onshore Alliance BMC teams, Alliance Operations, Finance and alliance leaders on investment data, analysis and status updates
- Maintain alliance investment reference materials, standard operating procedures and process documentation
- Support alliance partner processes and tools, including access-request tracking, access-issue resolution and platform administration
- Reconcile investment codes, claims and expense bookings
- Maintain leadership reports and dashboards covering budget utilization, forecasts, claim status and other investment metrics
- Ensure reporting is accurate, timely and appropriately cascaded
- Ensure compliance with tracking tools, workflows and approval mechanisms
- Support strategic projects, process enhancements and ad hoc initiatives
- Manage stakeholder expectations through planning, communication, risk escalation and follow-through
- Prepare investment-related content, insights and meeting materials for EY Alliances leadership meetings and coordinate logistics when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Business Administration
- 6+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, investment or budget administration, reporting, controls, alliance operations or a related field
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles, including high-value general ledger accounts, reconciliations and related reporting
- Experience using finance systems, preferably SAP or Oracle; Tally familiarity is an added advantage
- Advanced proficiency with large, complex spreadsheets and datasets
- Experience in planning, budgeting and investment administration, including budget preparation, utilization tracking, controls, forecasting and management reporting
- Experience with process mapping, process documentation, control design and audit preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI skills are an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, project-management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working virtually across multiple geographies, with cultural sensitivity and a global mindset
- Ability to work effectively with senior onshore stakeholders and build trusted business-advisor relationships
- Experience supporting alliance or partner investment programs in a professional services or technology company is preferred
- Master’s degree, MBA in Finance, or postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred
