About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients
  • Identify and communicate potential issues for timely and accurate completion of tax returns, research, accounting, and projects
  • Collaborate with clients and engagement teams
  • Escalate complex matters to senior team members and subject-matter professionals
  • Manage assigned workstreams independently
  • Maintain regular communication with client tax liaisons and trust teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal team members
  • Coordinate engagement deliverables and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and quality expectations
  • Develop junior team members by sharing knowledge, providing support, and fostering collaboration
  • Provide specialized tax technical services to U.S. and global financial services clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
  • Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and escalate problem areas
  • Experience presenting complex topics in client conversations
  • Ability to break down complex tax projects and formulate client-centric solutions
  • Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or licensed attorney preferred
