About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and execute operationally focused projects across sectors
  • Assist the client service team in developing and executing transaction strategies
  • Develop experience across pre-deal engagements, including operational and carve-out planning
  • Support post-deal engagements, including integration planning and tracking
  • Participate in project teams with colleagues across EY-Parthenon sub-service lines
  • Bring structure and results to unfamiliar or ambiguous situations
  • Assist with pursuits and proposal development
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives
  • Build relationships with clients and key decision-makers
  • Help healthcare clients think creatively about business and operating models
  • Advise on separation and integration plans, value enhancement, risk mitigation, and operational, functional, and people changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience
  • MBA is preferred
  • Management consulting experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to develop long-lasting internal and external relationships
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
  • Previous experience in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role is ideal
  • Experience within another large professional services organization is ideal
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry are ideal
  • Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot, is ideal
