Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance real-time dashboards and reports on resource utilization, capacity planning, and performance metrics
Use Power BI and advanced Excel functions to automate reporting and provide data analysis to leadership
Analyze trends, identify patterns, and provide actionable recommendations for resource allocation and planning
Ensure reports and data are delivered in the right format and aligned with business needs
Identify reporting and resource management inefficiencies and propose automation solutions using VBA, Power Query, and macros
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase reporting accuracy and efficiency
Improve resource management workflows to enhance scalability, reduce turnaround time, and ensure effectiveness
Own key deliverables, including streamlining non-audit assurance reports and developing advanced dashboards such as an RVA trends dashboard
Manage deliverables and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Provide insights and suggest enhancements to processes, tools, and reporting methods
Make decisions, optimize processes and resource management, and oversee team management as needed
Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide necessary tools and support, and evaluate performance
Collaborate with resourcing and operational teams to meet reporting and data needs
Contribute to innovative tools and solutions for workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong expertise in Power BI for developing dashboards, reports, and analytics
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and advanced functions
Experience with VBA, Power Query, and macros for process automation
Familiarity with resource management tools such as Retain or similar resource planning software
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables
Strong communication skills
Ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently, and drive deliverables with minimal supervision
Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and provide innovative solutions
