About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in audit engagements as a member of the Audit team
- Work effectively as a team member and share responsibility
- Provide support, maintain communication and update senior team members on progress
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with target management teams
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
- Establish internal and external relationships
- Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY
- Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals
- Anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate
- Confirm client work is high quality and reviewed by the next-level reviewer
Requirements
What you’ll need- GCC national
- 3.5 years of external Audit experience
- Strong academic record, including a degree
- Have started or completed a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CA
- Preferably experience with a Big 4 firm
- Ability to manage competing priorities and resources
- Effective communication skills
- Pro-activity, accountability and results-driven approach
