About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Co-create strategies that empower CFOs to drive sustainable, long-term business value
- Design future-proof finance operating models meeting reporting, regulatory, and control standards
- Craft cases for change covering financial and non-financial factors
- Lead comprehensive Finance Transformation programs
- Design and deliver innovative business processes and solutions
- Improve finance processes
- Design and implement shared services and global business services
- Provide outsourcing advisory
- Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Implement finance systems and intelligent automation
- Manage financial close, consolidation, and reporting
- Perform cost management and profitability analysis
- Address procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes
- Support asset and project accounting
- Apply knowledge of utility billing-to-cash processes via CIS systems and GLs
- Define and execute key deliverables
- Manage project timelines and track progress
- Engage regularly with clients, provide insights, and lead working sessions
- Lead teams and drive additional service offerings as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree)
- Typically, no less than 2–4 years relevant experience in consulting and power and utilities industry
- Experience with P&U-specific finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Power Plan
- Business case development
- Digital strategy
- Finance compliance and regulation awareness
- Finance quality, maturity, efficiency, and operational risk assessment
- Finance strategy, operating model, and transformation roadmap
- Finance sustainability
- Proficiency in business case development and digital strategy
- Awareness of finance compliance and regulation
- Ability to assess finance quality, maturity, efficiency, and operational risk
- Expertise in finance strategy, operating model design, and transformation roadmaps
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Complex problem-solving and digital fluency
- Willingness to travel 60–80% as needed to meet external client needs
