About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement solutions that enable clients and business partners to make efficient decisions
- Design, implement and deploy reports, dashboards, data models and access rules for end users
- Solve complex business problems at large scale
- Understand business needs and deliver appropriate solutions
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across domains
- Act as a subject matter expert for business intelligence issues in large projects
- Interact with data engineers, product/project managers and partners worldwide
- Participate in international projects based on Microsoft Stack and Azure Cloud
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of commercial experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau
- Experience using data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, flat files and web sources
- Strong experience and understanding of relational and dimensional database design and implementation
- Understanding of governance and security rules when handling data
- Experience converting business problems into technical solutions considering security, performance and scalability
- Experience implementing enterprise-class solutions
- Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Very good English, verbal and written
- Communicative level in French, German or Spanish is preferred
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred
- Experience developing ETL in Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica or Microsoft Fabric is preferred
- Experience with Qlik Sense, SAP BO, Cognos or OBIEE is preferred
- Experience with BI/ETL tools on Azure, GCP or AWS is preferred
- Experience with Oracle, DB2 or Teradata is preferred
- Experience with data lakes is preferred
- Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation is preferred
