About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide storage and backup infrastructure assessments, transformation roadmaps, storage management, and performance troubleshooting across on-premises and public cloud environments
- Manage storage and backup infrastructure deployment, data migration, and upgrade engagements across on-premises and public cloud environments
- Develop data management strategy and advisory across on-premises and public cloud platforms
- Develop data backup, security, and cyber resiliency strategy and advisory across on-premises and public cloud platforms
- Deploy and manage services on one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Develop best-fit disaster recovery solutions aligned with customers’ business objectives
- Conduct infrastructure assessments and analyze existing technology landscapes
- Develop technology strategies aligned with client goals and industry best practices
- Provide recommendations for technology investments, upgrades, and improvements
- Manage technology projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources and stakeholders
- Monitor emerging storage, backup, and data management technologies and industry trends
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders, providing project status and results updates
- Identify process improvement opportunities and propose actionable solutions
- Contribute to consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Support presales and bid management for storage, backup, data center, or IT infrastructure when applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of total experience, currently working as a Public Cloud consultant across infrastructure services deployment and management, with a past background in storage and backup infrastructure management
- 3+ years of experience in storage and backup services deployment and management across on-premises and public cloud
- 2+ years of experience in public cloud services deployment and management
- 1+ years of infrastructure automation experience using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and Ansible (configuration management)
- Awareness of data center and IT infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, compute, storage, and backup
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong presentation and data analysis skills
- Strong solution integration skills across data center and other technologies
- B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science
- Relevant OEM-level certifications
