About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the team in a progressive environment toward successful project completion
  • Drive development independently
  • Deliver objects according to SAP HANA best practices
  • Prepare technical documentation and perform unit testing
  • Apply strong debugging skills
  • Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team management as needed
  • Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, and ensure the team has necessary tools and support
  • Optimize and evaluate team performance to meet organizational goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree in a related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
  • Approximately 7 to 10 years of experience in an SAP ABAP/HANA development role
  • Progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Disciplined Agile Delivery software release build/deploy processes
  • SAP Security knowledge or experience
  • Integrating internal and external applications and systems with SAP
  • Portal implementation experience
  • Data extraction, transformation and load experience
  • Performance Analysis and HANA Code Pushdown implementation experience
  • Knowledge of digital technologies such as Machine Learning, AI, IoT, and Blockchain
  • Experience in BRF+, Adobe Forms, Workflows, Web Dynpro, and Webservices is good to have
  • Certification is a plus
  • Strong experience in Core SAP ABAP – RICEF and OOPS
  • Strong experience in SAP ABAP on HANA – AMDP, CDS, and OData Services
