About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather specifications from business and functional departments and deliver solutions meeting requirements
- Interpret business and functional requirements and develop technical specification documentation
- Work on custom integrations and standard integration packages
- Use SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit
- Develop with Java and Groovy scripting
- Perform SAP CPI support activities
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring or critical issues and propose solutions
- Perform and document unit, system, and integration testing throughout the project lifecycle
- Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team management as needed
- Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide tools and support, and evaluate performance
- Support the growth of EY’s GDS Integration practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree in a related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in a development role
- Experience with business process orchestration products such as Hana Cloud Integration (HCI), Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Dell Boomi, SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO)
- Experience delivering projects for customers, including requirements gathering, system landscape analysis, technical design, and interface development
- Experience building integration strategies for customers with on-premise and cloud application systems, including SuccessFactors and Ariba
- Expertise in data architecture, governance, and pre-packaged cloud integration
- Exposure to A2A and B2B business scenarios
- Experience with major adapters including SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, and SuccessFactors
- Understanding of security concepts, including SSL and PGP encryption
- Experience in Groovy scripting preferred
- Understanding and experience of integration best practices
- Excellent business communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- SAP certification is a plus
