About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on an international nearshore project, supporting technology and operations initiatives related to Asset Management, Wealth Management, and Market Data
- Analyze, validate, and interpret financial, operational, and market data
- Support operations and technology initiatives related to Asset Management and Wealth Management
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries
- Create and enhance reporting and analytics solutions
- Monitor data quality and consistency across different systems
- Perform validation and reconciliation processes
- Identify discrepancies and investigate their root causes
- Support the resolution of data issues in production environments
- Work with business users, investment, operations, and technology teams
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate requirements into analytical and reporting solutions
- Produce analyses and insights to support decision-making
- Document business rules, workflows, data lineage, and report logic
- Support financial, management, and regulatory reporting processes
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of data quality controls
- Support Data Governance initiatives
- Ensure the traceability, integrity, and reliability of information
- Participate in data transformation and modernization projects
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams
- Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis and reporting processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field
- Advanced English proficiency (C2), with the ability to communicate in an international environment
- Professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Market Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or in a similar role
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience developing and optimizing complex queries
- Experience with relational databases and analyzing large volumes of data
- Experience analyzing financial, operational, or market data
- Knowledge of data validation and reconciliation processes
- Experience with Data Quality initiatives
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies across systems and data sources
- Experience with reporting, analytics, and building solutions for business users
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Ability to translate business needs into analyses, queries, and reports
- Experience documenting business rules, data lineage, and reporting logic
- Ability to work with business, investment, operations, and technology teams
- Experience troubleshooting data issues in production environments
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organization, and a quality-oriented mindset
