About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational support for issues management and associated defect creation, monitoring, and tracking against the client’s current referenced architecture
- Oversee and govern operational technology systems to enhance security and ensure compliance
- Support the OT manager and work within a team of experts
- Ensure OT architectures align with organizational goals and industry standards
- Review and validate OT system designs against enterprise architecture standards
- Maintain and evolve governance frameworks, SOPs, and documentation
- Support change review boards and architecture decision forums
- Lead defect intake, triage, and remediation cycles
- Track and report new and existing defects, accepted risks, and remediation progress
- Facilitate weekly defect review meetings and follow up with stakeholders
- Partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA to resolve issues
- Provide guidance to site teams on governance and defect-related matters
- Identify documentation gaps and propose updates
- Contribute to standard work and LEAN process improvements
- Provide architecture oversight for OT systems, VLANs, and controls
- Review and approve OT solution architectural designs and implementations
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for OT architecture and design processes
- Assess architectural designs and recommend improvements
- Facilitate OT architecture decision-making and stakeholder alignment
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed OT changes
- Monitor emerging OT trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain OT architecture standards, guidelines, and governance documentation
- Assist with operations reporting focused on processes, milestones, and deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience and knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) environments and governance
- Experience with end-to-end issues management and exception/defects
- Experience with defect intake, exception review, and change request workflows
- Ability to build and manage SOPs, trackers, and reporting templates
- Strong familiarity, background, and/or understanding of manufacturing, shopfloor, ICS, building management, or other OT environments and associated safety, quality, and production considerations
- Experience with security architecture design and assessment of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML, and ZTA technologies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks including NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and ISA/IEC 62443
- Ability to apply cybersecurity frameworks to OT environments and defect resolution processes
- Knowledge of security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and access management
- Risk-based mindset including remediation and migration planning and tracking
- ServiceNow and Optro usage experience
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to assess complex OT architectures and defect patterns, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, engineering, and product owners
- Precision in tracking defects, remediation or mitigation, documenting architecture standards, and ensuring compliance reporting
- Ability to lead calls with Product Owners and client stakeholders and clearly articulate review reasoning and rationale
- Ability to work US EST business hours, 8AM–5PM EST
