About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with SAP/Systems Implementation consultants, developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify target audience training needs
- Use ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and other recognized models to design and develop SAP/SI course content and learning activities
- Determine instructional end goals and create supporting materials and media, including audio, video, simulations, role-plays, and games
- Establish learner performance criteria and develop assessment instruments
- Produce high-quality project deliverables through exhaustive internal reviews and obtain feedback from clients and global project counterparts
- Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more SAP/SI domain areas
- Maintain and update training materials and documentation based on SAP system changes and business requirements
- Communicate and collaborate with clients and project team members
- Support development of collaterals, tools, techniques, and methodologies for the practice
- Contribute to thought leadership for the SAP/SI learning domain
- Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team management as needed
- Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide tools and support, and optimize and evaluate team performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or associate degree with 4 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience and knowledge of SAP systems, modules, and functions, such as SAP FI, SAP HR, SAP MM, S4/HANA etc.
- Knowledge of multiple ERP systems, such as Oracle, Workday etc. is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles, and branding guidelines
- Effective writing skills (grasp and command over English)
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Ability to articulate design decisions, suggestions and provide creative direction
- Proficiency with one or more course authoring and learning tools: SAP EnableNow, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, WalkMe, Camtasia, Vyond, VideoScribe
- Practical knowledge and experience in instructional design principles
- Experience developing digital learning deliverables including Web-based learning, Videos, Interactive PDFs, Webcasts, Podcasts, nano-learnings, and VILT
- Ability to review learning deliverables developed by others
- Ability to develop learning estimations and proposals
- Excellent knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods and learning experience platforms
- Experience with a data-driven approach to instructional design is ideally preferred
- Proven project management experience is ideally preferred
- Knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System is ideally preferred
- Ability to manage ambiguity and be proactive
- Extremely sharp attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
- High energy, agility, and adaptability
- Ability to comprehend new content and topics across different domains
- Open to travel for approved client projects according to EY and country-specific travel advisory guidelines
- Knowledge and experience of working in a cross-cultural setup
