About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technology leader driving enterprise-scale AI strategy, architecture decisions, and innovation across global client engagements
  • Shape how AI engineering capabilities are built, scaled, and adopted across application security and offensive security domains
  • Lead front-end client conversations and define enterprise-level AI architecture standards
  • Guide organizations in solving complex real-world problems using advanced AI capabilities
  • Prototype solutions, validate emerging approaches, and solve complex technical challenges when required
  • Define and evolve enterprise-level AI reference architectures, frameworks, and engineering standards
  • Approve and guide architecture decisions across programs and client engagements
  • Lead executive-level client discussions, architecture workshops, and strategic solutioning initiatives
  • Drive AI engineering capability development across application security and VAPT domains
  • Champion emerging AI technologies, including advanced LLM patterns, multi-agent systems, and frontier AI capabilities
  • Create POCs, labs, reusable accelerators, and platform assets
  • Define and scale enterprise AI platforms, reusable accelerators, and engineering ecosystems
  • Establish AI engineering governance models, evaluation frameworks, performance standards, and responsible AI practices
  • Guide advanced AI implementation approaches, fine-tuning strategies, optimization techniques, and system-level design
  • Lead and mentor architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams
  • Provide strategic oversight for complex programs and alignment with business objectives
  • Contribute to go-to-market initiatives, practice-level AI propositions, and thought leadership assets
  • Represent EY in client forums, innovation discussions, and external thought leadership engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in AI engineering, architecture, or advanced technology consulting
  • Proven experience leading complex AI transformation and architecture initiatives
  • Strong track record of driving innovation and technology adoption
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with ability to prototype complex AI solutions
  • Deep expertise in AI/LLM tools such as OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of AI frameworks including LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalents
  • Strong understanding of RAG, agentic systems, multi-agent orchestration, and scalable pipelines
  • Architecture-level expertise with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure preferred
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI, or similar
  • Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems such as Pinecone, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Weaviate, or equivalents
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems
  • DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices
  • Strong technology leadership and architectural vision
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business-aligned solutions
  • Innovation mindset and passion for emerging technologies
  • Ability to influence and drive change across teams and organizations
  • Preferred cyber experience in enterprise-scale secure AI architecture and DevSecOps integration, or AI-driven threat modeling, adversarial evaluation, and red teaming frameworks
  • Relevant certifications are preferred: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect / AI Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect / Machine Learning Specialty, or CISSP
