About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead client engagements focused on real-world data and evidence generation
- Define and scale Real World Evidence practice service offerings
- Develop go-to-market strategies
- Generate and convert business opportunities
- Lead delivery of complex client engagements across late-phase research and evidence-generation programs
- Advise pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients on evidence strategies supporting development, regulatory, market access, and commercial objectives
- Design and implement evidence-generation programs using real-world data sources
- Develop solutions focused on late-phase research, Phase IV studies, registries, post-approval research, and observational studies
- Support business development activities, proposal creation, and thought leadership initiatives
- Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and industry leaders
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and deliver additional value
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery excellence
- Contribute to publications, conference presentations, and external thought leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific, public health, health economics, epidemiology, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or consulting environments
- Significant experience in Real World Evidence, Real World Data, epidemiology, outcomes research, or related evidence-generation functions
- Experience leading evidence-generation programs for large pharmaceutical organizations
- Proven experience supporting business development and developing client relationships
- Experience managing teams and leading complex engagements
- Willingness to travel as required
- Deep expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) and Real World Data (RWD)
- Strong understanding of evidence-generation strategies across the pharmaceutical product lifecycle
- Experience designing and executing Phase IV clinical studies, patient registries, and observational research programs
- Knowledge of post-approval safety studies, comparative effectiveness research, and outcomes research
- Experience developing client-facing offerings, solutions, or service lines related to RWE
- Demonstrated success building business pipelines and expanding client relationships
- Experience selling and delivering large-scale engagements for pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations
- Strong industry presence, including publications, presentations, or participation in key industry forums
- Ability to translate complex scientific and evidence-generation concepts into strategic business recommendations
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience working with large healthcare, claims, EMR/EHR, registry, or specialty data sources
- Experience collaborating with regulatory, medical affairs, clinical development, market access, and commercial teams
- Strong publication history and external industry visibility
