About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the Digital Competency development strategy across the organization
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team focused on digital technologies and solutions
- Identify skill gaps, design training programs, and oversee certification initiatives
- Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Solutioning teams to align digital capabilities with client demand and strategic goals
- Develop and maintain partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, and other technology providers
- Create capability-building roadmaps for cloud, data analytics, AI, business applications, and emerging technologies
- Monitor and report progress toward competency targets, certifications, and business impact
- Support the design and launch of digital-based services and solutions
- Foster continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence
- Act as an internal advocate and subject matter expert for digital technologies
- Manage team performance, career development, and engagement through feedback, coaching, and mentoring
- Drive new business development by highlighting opportunities and responding to tenders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 13+ years of experience in the IT consulting industry, focused on digital transformation and technologies
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, cloud ecosystems, data analytics, AI, and business solutions
- Experience in competency development, technical enablement, or practice management
- At least 10+ years of experience managing technical or consulting teams
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical experience, ideally in software development and/or architecture
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, digital solutions, or project management are highly desirable
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
- Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence at all organizational levels
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Ability to coach and counsel team members
- Strategic thinking and ability to implement practical solutions
- Ability to network effectively within large organizations and build relationships with colleagues and clients
- Ability to lead new business development, identify opportunities, and respond to tenders
