About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own mission-critical and non-critical Oracle Applications, Middleware, and Database systems across production and non-production environments
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Application DBAs and Database Administrators
  • Oversee installation, upgrade, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Applications, Oracle Databases, and Middleware technologies
  • Design, own, and implement technical architecture solutions aligned with industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Establish and govern monitoring, incident management, change management, capacity planning, and backup processes
  • Support diagnosis and resolution of complex service outages, availability issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Build preventive and automation-based solutions to reduce recurring incidents and operational risks
  • Participate in bids, proposals, technical reviews, solution blueprints, and architecture solutioning
  • Drive on-premise-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migration initiatives
  • Ensure continuous service improvement, risk mitigation, and delivery excellence across supported platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Over 15+ years of experience maintaining mission-critical and non-critical applications, middleware, and database systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Applications, Oracle Database, and Middleware technologies
  • Proven experience installing, upgrading, and configuring Oracle technologies within large-scale enterprise environments
  • Strong experience leading and managing teams of Application DBAs and Database Administrators
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related discipline with relevant professional certifications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure
  • Hands-on experience with backup management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Proven experience executing cloud migration initiatives using native and third-party tools
  • Experience defining and implementing DBA practices with measurable and reportable KPIs
  • Strong operational management skills
  • Hands-on experience managing production and non-production workloads
  • Exposure to enterprise governance, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Strong presentation and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
